The Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan
About dissolution of Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Third convocation and appointment of extraordinary elections of the deputies of Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan
According to the sub item 2) article 44, item 1 of the article 63 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, article 85, 87 of the Constitutional Act of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan" DECIDED:
1. To dissolve the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the third convocation.
2. To appoint extraordinary elections of the deputes of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, elected on party lists, on August 18, 2007.
3. To appoint extraordinary elections of the deputes of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan elected from Assembly of the nation of Kazakhstan, on August, 2007.
4. To establish, that promotion of candidates of Mazhilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, elected on party lists, begins on June 22, 2007 and comes to the end on July 11, 2007.
5. Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall organize preparation and carry out of extraordinary elections of deputies of Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
6. Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, akims of the regions, Astana and Almaty cities shall take all appropriate measures on organization, material-technical and financial maintenance of extraordinary elections of deputies of Mazhilis of Parliament of Republic Kazakhstan.
7. The present Decree comes into force from the date of publication

On appointing the regular election of the deputies of Maslikhat of the Republic of Kazakhstan and approving the Calendar plan of activities for holding the regular election of the deputies of Maslikhat of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Under subparagraph 14) article 12, subparagraph 1) paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 article 101 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Elections in connection with the end of constitutional terms of reference of Maslikhat the Central election commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan DECIDED:
1. Appoint on August, 18th 2007 regular election of the deputies of Maslikhat of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Promotion of the candidates start from June, 22d 2007.
2. Approve the attached Calendar plan of activities for holding the regular election of the deputies of Maslikhat of the Republic of Kazakhstan and send it to oblast, cities Astana and Almaty election commissions for maintenance of preparation and holding the elections.
3. Publish the present Decree in mass media.
